Chy-An-Brae
Chy-An-Brae is on Marcus Hill in Newquay. It's a three-storey house that sleeps up to twelve people. Six bedrooms, three bathrooms.
It has a 4 Star rating. That means it's equipped to a good, comfortable standard. It's not a show home, but everything works and it's clean.
The hill location means you can walk into town or to the beach quite easily. You'll hear some town noise, but you're close to everything. There's a local pub a short walk away. On-site parking for a couple of cars.
The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you have kids or dogs. You can bring up to two pets.
The dining table extends to seat everyone. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. We've left some board games, and things like buckets and spades for the beach. There's also a travel cot and a highchair if you need them.
From the house, you can walk to the main Newquay beaches like Fistral and Towan. The town centre shops, restaurants, and places like the cinema or Newquay Zoo are also within walking distance.
If you want to drive, the National Trust has several Cornish properties nearby, like Trerice or the Holywell Bay area. For wider walking information, the Cornwall National Landscape site is useful.
