The Haven is down the lane in Trevemper. It's a farmhouse, about 250 years old. It's attached to our place, but you've got your own entrance and the whole garden. The garden gets the sun and looks out over farmland.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's old, so it's full of character but it's not a show home. The walls are thick, the doors are low. You'll know you're in an old house.
You're about a mile and a half from Crantock beach. It's a good sandy beach. The Gannel estuary is right there too, which is nice for a walk. The South West Coast Path is accessed from the National Trust land in Crantock. The village has a couple of pubs and a shop.
Newquay is about two and a half miles away if you need shops or a different beach. For a day out, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are both within about half an hour's drive.
For facilities, it's all there: washing machine, TV, parking for your car. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
