Candles Cottage
Candles Cottage is in Cubert. It's detached, so no neighbours through the walls. The garden is a good size, with a lawn and a view over the fields. You can park off the road right next to it.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. You can bring one dog.
The cottage is open plan downstairs. It's got a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
The village shop and the pub are about a hundred yards away. The pub, The Smugglers Den, is through a gate at the back of the garden and across a field. They do food.
Holywell Bay beach is about a mile and a half away. It's a big sandy beach with dunes. You can walk it, but most people drive. It's where they filmed some of Poldark.
Newquay is roughly three miles one way, Perranporth about three miles the other. Both have everything you'd expect: supermarkets, surf shops, places to eat. Newquay has the zoo and the cinema.
You can get to a lot of places from here. The Eden Project is about a 25 minute drive. Truro takes about half an hour. St Ives, Padstow, and Fowey are all within a 30 to 40 minute drive, depending on traffic.
