Porth beach is a few minutes' walk away. It's a nice, sandy beach. Turn one way on the coastal path and you're at Watergate Bay, which is a long stretch of sand. Turn the other way and you're heading into Newquay town centre.
Newquay has the usual seaside things: shops, places to eat, the zoo. There's a pub and a restaurant about 150 yards from the apartment.
You can drive to a lot of places from here. Padstow, St Ives, the Eden Project. They're all within about an hour. If you want to plan days out, the National Trust Cornwall site is useful.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets.
