15 Ocean Gate
This is 15 Ocean Gate in Newquay. It's a ground-floor apartment in a modern block right on Pentire headland. The main thing is the view. You look straight out over Fistral Beach and the sea from the living room and the main bedroom.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. One bathroom has a walk-in shower, the other has a bath if you need that. It gets a 5 Star rating, so it's well kitted out and kept to a high standard.
The living space is all open plan. There's a good sized balcony you can get out onto from there. It's a solid, modern place. Everything is on one level, so it's good if steps are a problem. There's a car parking space underground, and a locker down there for wetsuits or boards.
You're about a five minute walk down to the sand at Fistral. The path to the headland and the coastal path is right there. Into Newquay town centre is maybe a ten, fifteen minute walk. You can see the harbour from the headland.
For facilities, it's got the normal things. Wifi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
Locally, you've got the coastal path for miles of walking. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline around here. Newquay Golf Club is just along the headland. For a day out, Padstow is about half an hour's drive. The Visit Cornwall site has ideas.
