Crantock House is in Newquay, about half a mile from the beach. It's a big, detached house that sleeps ten people. Five bedrooms, four bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The house is on three floors. The kitchen is large, with a big table. There's a wet room on the ground floor, which is handy if you come back from the beach sandy. The stairs are fine, just normal house stairs.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking on site for a couple of cars. All the bedding and towels are included. It's got wifi, a TV, a dishwasher and a washing machine.
Newquay has all the surf shops and beaches you'd expect. The closest beach is about a ten minute walk. For a longer walk, the South West Coast Path is right there.
If you drive for about half an hour north, you get to Padstow. The Camel Trail for cycling starts there. Going the other direction, towards Redruth, you can visit some of the old mining sites like East Pool Mine. Bodmin Moor is about forty minutes away by car.
