Blue Seas

Blue Seas is that house in Mawgan Porth you can see from the beach, the one up on the hill. It's a big house, not a cottage. Sleeps up to eleven people in five bedrooms, and each bedroom has its own bathroom, so no queues. It has a five star rating.

The view is the main thing. You look straight out at the sea. The garden is large and slopes down, and there's a deck out front to sit on. A little stream runs through the bottom of it. The beach is a five minute walk down the path from the garden gate.

The house has been done up. There's a big open living area with sliding doors to the deck. The kitchen is new and has everything, including a few different coffee machines. There's a separate TV room as well. There's a circular fireplace for cooler evenings.

Three bedrooms are on the ground floor. Upstairs, the glass and oak stairs lead to two more bedrooms and another room with a sofa bed that has the best view. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms.

There's a heated outdoor shower for washing off sand. A shed has some kids' wetsuits you can use. There's also a spa cabin with a sauna and an experiential shower.

You can charge an electric car here. The electricity is included.

In Mawgan Porth itself, there's a pub, a few places to eat, and cafes. It's about halfway between Newquay and Padstow. Newquay is ten minutes drive for shops and the airport. Padstow is fifteen, twenty minutes. The coastal path runs right past, so you can walk to Bedruthan Steps or Watergate Bay.
