This is Fistral. It's a bungalow near Penrose in Cornwall. Detached, so no one sharing walls with you. It's on one level, which is handy.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean and has everything you need, but it's not a show home. Wi-Fi works fine now, and there's a smart TV.
You can bring one dog. There's parking right outside.
The place is open plan inside. There's a patio with furniture out the back. It's quiet here, you're looking out at fields.
The nearest proper village is St Merryn, about a mile and a half away. There's a shop there and a few pubs, including Rick Stein's one. They say 'seven bays for seven days' around there. Harlyn Bay is probably the closest, it's good for families.
Padstow is ten minutes in the car. Harbour, pasties, the usual. You can get the ferry over to Rock from there. The Camel Trail starts nearby if you fancy a bike ride.
For beaches, Watergate Bay is about fifteen minutes away. That's where the surf schools are. The proper golf is at Trevose, just up the road.
If you don't mind a drive, Newquay is half an hour. That's where Fistral Beach is for surfing. The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are about forty minutes. Bodmin Moor is inland if you want a change from the coast.
