Little Tregarthen is on a quiet street in Padstow. It's attached to my house, but you have your own front door, a private decked area, and a parking spot. It sleeps two people in one bedroom.
It's got a 5 Star rating. That means everything is new and works properly. The layout is open plan downstairs. The shower is a walk-in type.
You're about a five minute walk from the harbour. Turn left out of the gate and you're heading downhill into town. Turn right and you're on the path to the coastal footpath in a couple of minutes.
The Camel Trail starts nearby for cycling. It's flat and goes along the estuary to Wadebridge. You can hire bikes in Padstow.
For beaches, you can walk to a couple of the smaller coves. For the big sandy ones like Constantine Bay or Harlyn, you'll need to drive. That's about ten minutes.
There's a shop a few minutes walk away. Plenty of pubs and restaurants in the town, Rick Stein's places among them. The ferry to Rock leaves from the harbour.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Towels and bedding are included. The garden is enclosed. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
