Little Tregarthen
Little Tregarthen is in Padstow. It's one of a pair. The owners live next door, but you have your own space, a decked area out the back, and a parking spot.
It's a five-star place, which mostly means it's very well done and comfortable. Everything feels solid. There are robes provided. It sleeps two, one bedroom, one bathroom. The shower is a walk-in. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
It's on a quiet street but it's only a few minutes' walk down to the harbour. The lanes are narrow. If you've been to Padstow you know how it is.
You're close to everything there. Plenty of cafés and shops. The harbour is working, so there are always boats coming and going. You can get the passenger ferry over to Rock. The Camel Trail for cycling starts nearby. It's flat and follows the estuary.
For beaches, you can walk to one in about twenty minutes. For others like Constantine Bay, Treyarnon, or Harlyn, you'll want the car. They're a five to ten minute drive. Good for surfing, or just walking.
Facilities: it's got a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ and the garden is enclosed.
