St Cadoc Cottage is in Harlyn. It's detached and has its own garden.
It dates from the 1820s. Inside, there are slate floors downstairs and a couple of old ornamental fireplaces. They don't work, they're just there.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's rated 3 Star. That means it's comfortable and clean, but you shouldn't expect luxury.
The main thing is the location. You're about five minutes walk from Harlyn Bay, which is a sandy beach. It's good for swimming and surfers go there.
The local pub and a shop are a few minutes walk away.
Padstow is a couple of miles up the road. You can drive or catch a ferry from Rock. That's where the Rick Stein restaurants are, and the shops. The Camel Estuary is there too, for sailing.
If you want to walk, the South West Coast Path runs right past Harlyn. You can go towards Trevose Head one way or Trevone the other.
The garden is fully enclosed, so it's safe for a dog or kids. There's parking on site.
Bookings include bedding and towels. There's a washing machine. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
