Lodge 133
Lodge 133 is on Atlantic Bays Holiday Park, near St Ervan. It's a detached lodge, modern, like most on the park. Sleeps five, but that's with a bunk bed in one room and a double in the other. There's one family bathroom with a bath and an electric shower over it.
The living space is all open plan: kitchen, dining table, sofas. It's straightforward. Outside there's a small patio area with a picnic bench. You can park right next to it.
The park itself has a shop for basics. There's a local pub in the village, St Ervan, about a mile away. For a bigger shop or more places to eat, you'd drive to Padstow or Newquay.
You're well placed for the north Cornish coast. Porthcothan Bay is about three miles. It's a nice sandy beach with rock pools. Harlyn Bay is good for families, a bit further on. Padstow is about fifteen minutes by car. You can mooch around the harbour, get fish and chips, walk the Camel Trail. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline here, like Trevose Head, which is good for a bracing walk.
Newquay is in the other direction, maybe twenty minutes. That's where Fistral Beach is, if anyone wants to surf. The Cornwall Countryside Access pages are useful for walking routes.
Inside, it's got a washing machine, TV, and all the bedding and towels are included. No pets allowed. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and functional. It does the job.
