Nellys House
Nellys House is a small, detached cottage on our farm, just outside St Merryn village. It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It feels private.
The bedroom is a good size. You can see a sliver of Harlyn Bay sea from the front window. The living area is open plan.
It's got a 4 Star rating so it's well looked after. Downstairs is level, but there's a step up into the bathroom. The hot water is electric, so you have to plan showers a little.
You're on a working farm, so you'll see the odd tractor and hear some animal noises. There's parking right outside.
St Merryn village is about a mile away. There's a decent shop there and a few places to eat. Rick Stein's Cornish Arms pub is the closest, maybe a ten minute walk down the lane.
The big draw is the coast. There are seven good beaches within about three miles. Harlyn and Constantine are popular with surf schools. Padstow harbour is a few minutes drive for boats and restaurants.
If you want to explore, the Camel Trail at Wadebridge is great for cycling. Port Isaac, Tintagel, and Newquay are all within half an hour. Bodmin Moor is about the same drive inland.
Facilities: We include all bedding and towels. There's a dishwasher, a TV, and space to store bikes. There's a small patio garden with a table. Sorry, no pets.
