The Batch
The Batch is a bungalow on St Merryn Holiday Park. It's detached, so no shared walls. You get a private driveway and the garden to yourselves. It's enclosed, part lawn, part patio.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. Two rooms have a kingsize bed, one has twins. There are two bathrooms, one is an en-suite to the main bedroom. They've both got showers. All the bedrooms have a TV.
The living room is at the front. It's a decent size with two sofas. The kitchen is through there. You eat in the conservatory on the back, which gets the sun. It's a solid 4 Star place. Clean, well looked after, everything works.
The park has a shop for basics and a bar that does food in the season. There's a play area for kids and a field for walking dogs.
You're about three miles from the coast. Harlyn Bay is a good family beach, lots of sand. Treyarnon and Porthcothan are nearby for rock pools. Padstow is about ten minutes drive. It's busy, but that's where the shops and the famous restaurants are.
Port Isaac is half an hour up the coast. Tintagel Castle is about a forty minute drive. The National Trust runs parts of the coast there, like Trevose Head, which is good for a walk.
Facilities: WiFi, dishwasher, washing machine, towels and bedding are included. Parking for two cars on the driveway. You can bring up to three dogs.
