Daisy Cottage
Daisy Cottage is in Bolingey, near Perranporth. It’s a converted farm building, so it’s solid stone. Looks out over fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. Got a 4 Star rating. It’s been done up well, everything works, it’s comfortable. The layout is open plan downstairs.
You’ve got a patio and garden area to yourself. Parking is right there. Facilities are all there: dishwasher, washing machine, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets.
The local pub is about half a mile. It does food. For a shop, you’ll need to go into Perranporth, which is about a mile and a half.
Perranporth beach is the big one here. Three miles of sand, dunes. There’s a bar right on the beach. The town is family-friendly, plenty of surf hire. The coastal path runs right past if you want to walk.
Newquay is about ten minutes by car. That’s where you’ll find most of the attractions, like the zoo and the Sea Life Centre. St Agnes is west, Crantock is east, both nice for a wander and a different beach.
Further afield, within about half an hour, you’ve got Truro for proper shopping and the cathedral. Padstow is about twenty-five minutes, for the harbour and the food. The National Trust has a few big properties nearby like Trerice and Lanhydrock. The Visit Cornwall site is good for planning days out.
