Trescowthick Barn
Trescowthick Barn is near Truthan, about three miles inland from Newquay. It's a detached, converted barn, Grade II listed. Sleeps eleven, five bedrooms, four bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. We allow up to three dogs.
The location is quiet, down a country lane. You're in the middle of fields really. But you can drive to Crantock beach or Holywell Bay in about ten minutes. Newquay is about four miles for shops and surf hire.
The barn has a wood burning stove. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs or kids. There's parking right there and an electric vehicle charger. It's all on one level inside, so no stairs, and the doorways are wide enough for a wheelchair.
You're well placed for lots of places. Padstow and the Camel Trail are maybe half an hour north. The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are about forty minutes south. For a walk, the Gannel estuary is close by and good for birdwatching.
A few practical things: all bedding and towels are included. There's a cot, highchair and stairgate if you need them. TV, WiFi, dishwasher, washing machine. The pub in the nearest village is about two miles away.
