Chalet 8
Chalet 8 is one of the bungalows here in Mount Hawke. It's one of ten on the site, set back in about eight acres of woodland. It's all single-storey, so everything is on the ground floor. That makes it pretty straightforward.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and functional. The garden bit is yours to use. There's parking right outside.
You can bring up to two dogs. We include the electricity in the price. There's Wi-Fi, a TV, a washing machine, and we can put a cot or highchair in if you need one.
The main benefit is the location. You're about half a mile from the coast path at Porthtowan. The village shop is a few minutes' walk, and the pub is about 130 yards down the lane. It does food.
Porthtowan beach is a short drive, or a decent walk. Portreath is about the same. For a bigger beach, Perranporth is about fifteen minutes in the car. St Agnes has cafes and a few shops and is ten minutes away. Truro is about twenty minutes if you need a bigger town or the cathedral.
