Vredehoek

Vredehoek is a converted barn in Blunts, near Saltash. It's a detached house so you've got your own space. The views are good, mostly fields and countryside looking across towards Dartmoor.

It sleeps seven with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms and a shower room are on the ground floor. The main bedroom with its ensuite is upstairs. It has a 4 Star rating so it's well-equipped. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are spiral and quite steep.

The main room is open plan, with the kitchen, dining and living area together. There's a wood burner for colder nights. There's also a sunroom with big doors that open onto the decking. The hot tub is out there. The underfloor heating works well.

The garden wraps around the property. You can follow the sun from the front in the morning to the decking in the afternoon.

You're a couple of miles from the nearest shop and pub. For beaches, you'll need to drive. The closest is about nine miles away, at Seaton or Whitsand Bay.

If you want activities, St Mellion golf course is very close. Adrenalin Quarry is about a 15-minute drive for go-karts and that sort of thing. Plymouth is roughly 20 minutes by car for shops and the Barbican. The Tamar Valley is right there for walking. You can get onto Dartmoor within half an hour.

In terms of what's here: all the bedding and towels are included. There's parking for a couple of cars. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and a highchair if you need one. The garden is private. No pets, sorry.
