Ashmere

This is Ashmere. It's a modern lodge we've got on the edge of Callington, Cornwall. It sleeps four but it's just the one bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge. It's all on the ground floor and it's wheelchair accessible from the parking area.

You get five acres of land to look at. The view from the patio is over towards Bodmin Moor. It's quiet here. At night, because there's not much light pollution, you can see loads of stars. Proper dark skies.

Inside, it's been done up recently. There's a kitchen with a breakfast bar, a bathroom with a good shower, and an open plan living area. The sofa bed is in there. The main bedroom has twin beds that can zip together into a double. All bedding and towels are included. There's a TV and Wi-Fi.

You can walk into Callington for a shop or to the pub. It's about a twenty minute walk, maybe less. If you drive, Plymouth is half an hour away for more shops, restaurants, and the historic waterfront.

The Tamar Valley is just here. It's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor are both close for walking. The coast is about a forty minute drive, depending if you're going south to Looe and Polperro, or further west.

Facilities wise, it's all there. Washing machine, cot if you need it, that sort of thing. No pets. It's got a 4 Star rating.
