Eagles Nest is a lodge on a private estate near St Mellion. There are twenty lodges in total, set in a wooded valley. It's detached and you get your own decked terrace out the back.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That's handy if you're sharing with another family or friends. The main living area is open plan. There are balconies on both sides of the lounge.
The estate borders the St Mellion Golf and Country Club. The Jack Nicklaus course is right there if you play. You're about a fifteen-minute drive from the River Tamar and the Cornwall-Devon border.
For beaches, you're roughly halfway between the north and south coasts. You're looking at about a 25-minute drive to either. Looe and Whitsand Bay are probably the closest on the south coast. The nearest shop and pub are in St Mellion village, about three miles away.
The place has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. There's a barbecue on the terrace.
