Fir Cottage Carkeel

Fir Cottage is one of the converted stables here at Woodside. It's detached. You're near Carkeel, just outside Saltash. It's a rural spot but only a minute from the A38, so getting into Cornwall is straightforward.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both ensuite, so two bathrooms total. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up well inside, clean and comfortable. Everything is on one level, which is good for access. The doorways are wide and there are no steps at the entrance.

You've got your own enclosed patio garden with a barbecue. Then there's about 27 acres of shared grounds around the stables. There's a big lawn, a kids' play area, a woodland walk, and a field. It's quiet.

Inside, it's open plan. There's a kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine, a sitting area with a TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. There's parking right outside.

You can bring two dogs. The garden is enclosed but check the fencing is tall enough for your dog.

For things to do, the coast is about 20 minutes by car. Freathy beach is a good one. The South West Coast Path is all along there. The Eden Project is maybe 25 minutes away. St Mellion golf course is ten minutes down the road.

There's a shop and a pub about two miles away in the village. Saltash has more options, it's five minutes in the car. Plymouth is over the bridge, about 15 minutes. You can be on Dartmoor in half an hour.
