Tamar View is in Cargreen, on the Cornish side of the River Tamar. It's a modern, end-terrace house.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, so that helps in the morning. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. The garden is a decent size, with a patio and a barbecue. You get a view of the river from the back.
Cargreen itself is small. There's a village pub a few minutes' walk away. It's a proper waterside place, so you'll see boats coming and going. The lane down to the water is just at the end of the street.
If you want a bigger town, Saltash is about a ten-minute drive. They've got supermarkets and a few more shops. Plymouth is over the bridge, maybe fifteen or twenty minutes by car. That's where you'll find the cinema, the big shops, and the ferry to Mount Edgcumbe.
For a day out, the Tamar Valley is good for walking. The river path goes for miles. Cotehele, the National Trust house and gardens, is about a fifteen-minute drive up the valley. It's a nice spot. The Rame Peninsula is within half an hour, so you can get to Whitsand Bay or the villages like Kingsand.
The facilities are all there: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. Parking is on site for two cars. No pets, sorry.
