Beech Cottage
Beech Cottage is one of the cottages at Woodside Stables in Carkeel, near Saltash. It's in a quiet spot but only a minute from the A38, so it's easy to get to Cornwall from here.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is clean and well looked after. It's all on the ground floor, which makes it straightforward.
You've got your own enclosed garden bit to sit in. There's also a big shared lawn and a play area for kids. The property is surrounded by its own land, about 27 acres, with a woodland walk. It's very quiet.
You're allowed to bring up to two dogs. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
The nearest shop and pub are about two miles away in Saltash. For a day at the beach, you're looking at a 20-minute drive to places like Freathy. The Eden Project is a big draw and is about a 25-minute drive. Adrenaline Quarry, for go-karts and that sort of thing, is also close. If you golf, St Mellion is five miles away.
