Sundowners is in Calstock, Cornwall. It's a terraced cottage, and it's a listed building. The front faces the village lane, the back looks south over the garden and gets the sun.
It sleeps five. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and has character, but it's not a show home. The stairs are quite steep, as you'd expect in an old cottage.
There are two pubs about fifty yards away. One does food. The village has a cafe, an ice cream shop, and a community arts theatre. For a proper shop, you need to drive to Gunnislake, which is about two and a half miles.
The cottage is right on the river Tamar. You can see it from the end of the garden. There's a footpath along the river and a train station in the village with a line to Plymouth.
The National Trust's Cotehele house and quay is just up the river. It's a good walk or a very short drive. The whole Tamar Valley is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
For days out, the Eden Project is about a 30 minute drive. The south coast around Looe and Polperro is maybe 40 minutes. Dartmoor is about the same.
Inside, there's a wood burning stove, WiFi, a washing machine, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
