Hare Lodge
Hare Lodge is in Chipshop, which is a small place just outside Tavistock. It's a first floor apartment, one of two above the Copper Penny Inn. You're right next to the pub. The owners run the pub and also a farm shop on site where they sell their own meat and vegetables.
It sleeps five people. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean, but not luxurious.
The pub is right there, so you don't have to go far. The farm shop is useful. For a bigger shop, Tavistock is about ten minutes away by car. That's an old market town with proper shops and a pannier market.
You're close to the Tamar Valley, which is nice for walks. The Tamar Trails are about a mile away. For a day out, Cotehele is about a 20 minute drive. It's a National Trust house and garden on the river. Morwellham Quay is also nearby.
Dartmoor is about 15 minutes away if you want to get up onto the tors. The north Cornish coast, like Widemouth Bay, is about a 40 minute drive.
Facilities wise: there's wifi, a TV, parking on site, and a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
