Oregano

This is Oregano. It's one of the thirteen cottages at Sherrill Farm in Dunterton. The farm is right on the Devon and Cornwall border.

The cottage sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. More than one dog can be a bit much, so we only allow one pet.

It's a converted farm building, so the rooms are a decent size but expect cottage proportions. The kitchen has what you need. There's a washing machine, and bedding is included.

The main thing here is the shared facilities. There's a large indoor heated swimming pool and a games room with a bowling alley. They're open until 9pm. Outside, there's a tennis court, a kids' play area, and a few ponds. One is for wildlife, the others are stocked if you fancy a bit of fishing.

You're about a mile from a pub. The nearest shop is a few miles away in Lifton. Tavistock is six miles east. It's a proper market town with a pannier market.

You're very close to the Tamar Valley here. Cotehele and Buckland Abbey are both within a 30 minute drive. The north and south coasts of Devon and Cornwall are both about an hour away by car.

Dartmoor is on your doorstep. You can be up on the moor in 15 minutes. For planning walks, Dartmoor National Park Authority is the site to use.
