Phoebe's Folly
This is Phoebe's Folly. It's one of three shepherd's huts on our land near Meadwell. The huts are spaced out in their own bit of field, so you get a good bit of privacy.
It's for two people. One bedroom with a kingsize bed, and one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well set up.
The hut itself is all one room, open plan. There's a kitchen area, the bed, and a sofa. It's warm. There's heating and a wood burner for colder nights. We provide the bedding and towels.
Outside, there's a private patio area with a firepit you can cook on. The main thing is the wood-fired hot tub. It looks out over the fields. You get a view of the farmland and we have two Dartmoor ponies, Harriet and Tony, in a nearby paddock.
When you arrive, there'll be some basics like milk, tea, and coffee. We also leave you some scones with jam and cream.
Location wise, it's very rural and quiet. Tavistock is about a 20-minute drive. It's a proper market town with shops and places to eat. Plymouth is roughly 40 minutes away if you want a city day. Dartmoor is on your doorstep. You can drive into the park in under 10 minutes.

Facilities: there's WiFi, parking right by your hut, and the hot tub. We ask that you don't bring pets.
