It's called Demelza. It's a two bedroom cottage on a site just outside Launceston. Sleeps four, has one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious.
The cottage is part of a small group of barns converted from the old farm buildings. They're set around a yard that looks onto the stables. The site is a working horse riding school, so you'll see horses about. You can book riding lessons if you want. There's also a heated outdoor swimming pool, which is open in the warmer months, and a small fishing lake on the grounds.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs with a wood burner. The kitchen has what you need. Upstairs are the two bedrooms and the bathroom. The stairs are a typical cottage staircase, a bit steeper than a modern house.
You're welcome to bring one well-behaved dog. There's a private patio area with a barbecue. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside.
Location wise, you're about two miles from Launceston town. It has supermarkets, a few pubs, and a leisure centre. Being right on the border, you can easily get into both Cornwall and Devon. The north coast around Tintagel and Boscastle is about a 25 minute drive. Dartmoor is about the same distance the other way, to the east.
For wider planning, the National Trust and Cornwall National Landscape sites are useful.
