Parsley

Parsley is one of the cottages at Sherrill Farm, near Dunterton. It's part of a big old farm conversion, so there are other cottages around a courtyard, but yours is self-contained. The farm sits in its own bit of land, about 16 acres.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The conversion kept some of the old features, like beams. It's comfortable and clean.

Outside your cottage, you've got access to the shared leisure barn. That's got a large indoor heated swimming pool, a jacuzzi, a small gym, and a games room with a bowling alley. They're open until 9pm. There's also an all-weather tennis court, a kids' play area, and a few fishing ponds on the grounds. You'll see a lot of wildlife around.

The location is right on the Devon and Cornwall border. It's very quiet. You're about a mile from the nearest pub. A shop is roughly four and a half miles away. For a bigger shop, Tavistock is about six miles east. It's a proper market town with a pannier market.

You're well placed for getting out. Dartmoor is straight to the east. The Tamar Valley is a short drive west – it's nice for riverside walks. The north and south coasts of both Devon and Cornwall are within an hour's drive for beaches.

In terms of facilities in the cottage: there's a washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's parking right outside.
