Thyme
Thyme is a cottage on Sherrill Farm, near Dunterton. It's one of thirteen converted from old farm buildings.
It sleeps two, one bedroom and one bathroom. The rating is 4 Star. You can bring one dog.
The main thing here is the leisure facilities on site, which you share with the other guests. There's a large indoor heated swimming pool, a jacuzzi, a gym, a bowling alley, and a games room. They're open until 9pm. Outside, there's a kids' play area, an all-weather tennis court, and three ponds. Two are for fishing, one is for wildlife.
The farm is about 16 acres. It's quiet countryside. You'll see birds, and sometimes foxes and badgers in the evening.
It's a good base for exploring. You're right on the Devon and Cornwall border. Dartmoor is close by for walking. The Tamar Valley is a short drive, with villages like Morwellham. The north and south coasts of both counties are within an hour or so by car for beaches.
The nearest pub is about a mile away, and a shop is about four and a half miles. Tavistock, a market town, is six miles.
In the cottage, bedding is included. There's a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
