Passion Flower Cottage
This is Passion Flower Cottage in Dippertown. It's a converted stone barn from the 1800s. It's quiet out here, but only ten minutes from the A30, so getting about is easy.
It's for two people. One big bedroom upstairs with a kingsize bed and an en-suite bathroom. The bathroom has both a separate bath and a walk-in shower. The ceiling is vaulted with oak beams. There's a multi-fuel stove in the living room and a Smart TV.
Outside, it's in a walled courtyard next to our house. You park right outside. There's a private, enclosed lawn garden with a patio. A gate from there leads into two acres of our grounds, which are fenced and have a small orchard. Dogs are very welcome here. We provide dog towels, bowls, and there's a stairgate.
There's a store on site. We sometimes have farm eggs, local jams, and pottery for sale there. We can store bikes for you.
You can walk straight from the grounds onto a public footpath through some nice woodland.
Tavistock is nine miles away. It's got a good market. Lifton, three miles away, has a famous farm shop and three pubs. Roadford Lake is five miles for fishing and water sports.
Dartmoor National Park starts about seven miles away at Lydford. You can get to north Cornwall's beaches in under 40 minutes by car. There are a few National Trust houses and steam railways within a half-hour drive.
