Stowford Linhay
Stowford Linhay is in Stowford, which is a small place about fifteen minutes from Lifton. It's a detached bungalow on our farm, so it's all on one level. It's got its own garden, which is enclosed, and the garden faces south so it gets the sun.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. The shower is good. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. Everything's open plan inside.
You can let your dogs straight out from the garden into our dog field, which is about four and a half acres. We allow up to two dogs. The field is just for guests.
For a pub or a shop, you need to drive to Lifton, which is under two miles. There are a couple of decent pubs there. For bigger shops, Okehampton or Launceston are about twenty minutes away.
It's a good spot for walking. You're right on the edge of Dartmoor. Lydford Gorge is very close, maybe ten minutes by car. Roadford Lake is about three miles away if you want to try fishing or watersports. The north coast, like Bude or Widemouth Bay, is roughly half an hour's drive. The Eden Project takes about an hour.
What's here: There's parking right outside. WiFi. Washing machine. BBQ. You can store bikes. We provide bedding and towels. We can put a travel cot or highchair in for you if you ask.
