Cornflower is a two bedroom lodge at Roadford Lake, not far from Broadwoodwidger. It's detached and sleeps four.
It's a 5 Star place, which means it's been done up to a high standard. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. One has a king size bed, the other has twins. The main living area is open plan with big sliding doors that open onto the patio. It's south facing, so you get the sun. There's a hot tub out there. You look out over fields, sometimes with ponies in them.
The kitchen has what you'd need, including a dishwasher and washing machine. There's a Brita water tap.
The site is quiet. You're in the countryside. Roadford Lake itself is right there if you want to do things like kayaking or windsurfing, or just go for a walk around it. Good for wildlife.
For days out, Dartmoor is about half an hour's drive east. Dartmoor National Park has all the tors and walking routes. Going west, you can get to the north Cornish coast in a bit over half an hour. Beaches like Widemouth Bay or Bude are there. Padstow and places like Port Isaac are a bit further, maybe 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic.
Facilities are all included: bedding, towels, wifi, parking. No pets. Everything you plug in is covered in the price.
