Swallows Nest
Swallows Nest is on our farm in Stowford. It's a barn conversion, detached, so it's just your group there. You've got your own garden and patio.
It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms and, usefully, three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is roomy and the building still has a lot of the old beams, which look nice.
You can bring one dog. Things like bed linen and towels are included. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a wood burner. Parking is right outside.
Outside of your cottage, there's a shared games barn. It's got a pool table, table tennis, that sort of thing. It's handy if the weather turns.
The shop and the nearest pub are about a mile and a half away. The Dartmoor National Park is only about seven miles east if you want proper walks. Roadford Lake is close by for sailing or walking around the water.
For a day out, Bude and its beaches are about 20 miles west. Launceston is nine miles, it's got a castle ruin and shops. The Eden Project is under an hour's drive.
