Sage
Sage is one of the cottages at Sherrill Farm. It's a one bed place, sleeps two. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after.
The cottage is part of the old farm buildings, around 300 years old. They're set back from the road in their own bit of land, so it's quiet. You get the cottage to yourselves, but you share the wider facilities with the other properties here.
Those facilities are the main draw. There's a large indoor heated swimming pool and a Jacuzzi. There's a gym, a games room, and a small bowling alley. They're open until 9pm. Outside, there's a play area for kids, an all-weather tennis court, and a few fishing ponds.
The cottage itself has one bedroom and one bathroom. It's open plan downstairs. The kitchen has what you need. Bedding is included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
Location wise, it's in Dunterton, right on the Devon and Cornwall border. It feels remote, but you're a mile from a pub. A shop is about four and a half miles.
Dartmoor is about a 20 minute drive. It's proper open moorland, good for walking. Dartmoor National Park has all the details.
The Tamar Valley is close by, and the north and south coasts of both counties are within an hour's drive. Tavistock is six miles away, it's a proper market town.
