Dove Cottage is in Woodabridge, between Callington and Launceston. It's a converted barn, attached to our house. We live next door. It's quiet here, on a lane not many people use.
The cottage sleeps two. There's a double bedroom downstairs and a twin room upstairs under a vaulted ceiling. It has a 4 Star rating. The stairs are a normal cottage staircase, so they're a bit steeper than in a modern house.
There's a small south-facing garden with a patio. It's enclosed. You get the garden to yourselves.
For food, there's a good farm shop with a café about a mile away. There's also a pub that does food, also about a mile. The shop in Callington is three miles.
The location is good for getting around. You're about halfway between the north and south coasts. Bude and Looe are both about an hour's drive. Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor are within half an hour if you want proper walking. At Calstock, which is close, you can hire canoes or bikes. You can get the train from there to Plymouth if you fancy a day out.
What's here: TV, WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ in the garden. There's a highchair and a stairgate if you need them. Parking is on site. No pets, sorry.
