This is Acorns. It's our one-bedroom cottage in Darleyford, Cornwall. It sleeps two.
It's one end of our old granite barn we converted. The layout is upside down, so the living area is upstairs. That's where the doors are to the garden. The bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor. The bathroom's got a big Victorian roll-top bath and a separate shower.
It's a quiet hamlet, just a few houses. The garden is enclosed, which is good because we take up to three dogs. There's parking right there and an electric vehicle charger.
It's a 4 Star place. It's comfortable. You've got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included.
You're right on the edge of Bodmin Moor. The village of Minions, which is the highest in Cornwall, is about two miles away. You can walk up to the Hurlers stone circles and the Cheesewring rock from there. The whole area is covered in old mine chimneys and engine houses. There's a famous old oak tree here in Darleyford, over a thousand years old.
There's a local pub a short walk away. For a bigger shop, Launceston or Liskeard are the nearest towns. The north and south Cornish coasts are both within about half an hour's drive. Dartmoor is about the same.
