Squirrels Leap is on the edge of a small holiday village called Rosecraddoc, near Liskeard. It’s central, so you’re about half an hour from both the north and south coasts.
It’s a two bedroom bungalow, sleeps four. One double and one twin. There’s one bathroom with a bath and an electric shower over it. It’s a 3 Star place, so it’s clean and has what you need, but don’t expect anything fancy. The open plan living area is bright. You get your own parking spot right outside.
Outside, there’s a patio with a table and chairs. It looks into the woods. It’s very quiet here. You’ll see a lot of birds, buzzards mainly. Sometimes you hear owls at night.
The location is the main thing. You’re right in the middle of Cornwall. For the south coast, Seaton and Downderry beaches are about twenty minutes. Looe and Polperro are a bit further, maybe twenty-five. To the north, you can get to Port Isaac or the Camel Estuary in roughly half an hour.
Liskeard is a five minute drive for supermarkets, a few pubs, and the train station. The National Trust has a lot of places nearby, like Lanhydrock. The Bodmin Moor is on your doorstep for walking. The Camel Trail for cycling is easy to get to from Bodmin or Wadebridge.
Inside, it’s got WiFi, a Smart TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
