Rosecraddoc Manor is near Liskeard, on the edge of Bodmin Moor. Heron is the place I'm letting out. It's a first-floor studio apartment, so it sleeps two people. It's all one room, with a bed, sitting area, and kitchenette together. There's a separate bathroom.
It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean and comfortable, but not luxurious. Everything you need is there.
The apartment is up a flight of stairs. The main house is old and listed, so it has character. The grounds are the real point. There are 35 acres of gardens and bluebell woods to walk in. There's a fishing lake on site. You can use the all-weather tennis court too, between April and October.
There's a shop and a pub about a mile and a half away. For more, Looe is eight miles. It's a proper Cornish fishing town with the harbour and beaches. Plymouth is about 20 miles if you need a city or the ferry. The Eden Project is also around 20 miles in the other direction.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding is included. I can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, I'm afraid.
If you're planning walks or days out on the moor, the Bodmin Moor website has good information.
