Rosecraddoc Manor - Heron
This is the Heron apartment at Rosecraddoc Manor. It’s not a separate cottage, it’s a first floor apartment in the main house. The house is very old, Grade II listed, and sits in 35 acres of its own grounds. There’s a lake, woods, and a river running through.
Heron sleeps two people. It’s a studio layout, so it’s all one room plus the bathroom. There’s a shower, not a bath. It’s got a 3 Star rating, which means it’s clean and well equipped.
You can bring one dog. The grounds are enclosed, so that’s good for walks without going far. There are footpaths through the woods. The lake is stocked for coarse fishing if you fancy that. There’s also a tennis court you can use, though it's seasonal.
The front door to the manor house is up three stone steps. Heron itself is on the first floor, so there are stairs inside to get to it. It’s not suitable for a wheelchair.
There’s a pub about a mile and a half away. For shops, you’ll need to drive to Looe, which is about eight miles. Looe has a proper seafront and that sort of thing. Further afield, the Eden Project and Plymouth are both roughly twenty miles. Bodmin Moor is right on your doorstep for walking.
What’s here: You’ve got your own patio or garden area. There’s parking on site. WiFi works. It has a washing machine. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
