Lake View Cottage is one of a few cottages and apartments at Rosecraddoc Manor, near Liskeard. It's detached, so you're on your own. The main thing here is the grounds. There are 38 acres of them, with a lake right outside. You can fish in it if that's your thing.
The cottage sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and well looked after. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine, and there's a patio garden with a view of the lake.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding is included, but you'll need to bring your own towels.
On the site itself, there's a tennis court. In Liskeard, a couple of miles away, there's a leisure centre with pools and a gym. Bodmin Moor is about four miles north if you want proper walks. The coast with beaches and harbours is a short drive south.
The Eden Project is roughly a 20 minute drive. Plymouth and the edge of Dartmoor are about 45 minutes. For planning trips, the National Trust Cornwall site is useful, as is Bodmin Moor for walks.
A couple of things to note. The manor house is old and Grade II listed, so some doorways or stairs might feel a bit traditional in places. Also, there are other holiday cottages and apartments here, so you might see other guests around the grounds.
