Lake View Cottage
This is Lake View Cottage in Rosecraddoc, near Liskeard. It's a detached place that sleeps six, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, which is handy. The rating is 4 Star.
The main thing is the grounds. The cottage is in a big estate, about 38 acres, with a lake you can see from the property. You're allowed to fish in it. There's also an all-weather tennis court you can use.
Inside, it's warm and clean. Bedding is included, but you do need to bring your own towels. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, cot and highchair if you need them. It's fully detached so you've got your own space. Parking is right there.
You're about a mile and a half from the nearest pub. Liskeard town is two and a half miles away, they've got a leisure centre with pools, including a flume for kids.
You're well placed for getting out and about. Bodmin Moor is less than four miles away for walking. The south coast with its beaches is about a 25 minute drive. The Eden Project is roughly 20 miles, so about half an hour by car.
