Rosecraddoc Manor - Hayloft
The Hayloft is where I'd go if I wanted a quiet week away. It's upstairs in the old Coach House at Rosecraddoc. You're looking out over the courtyard and trees.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean. The kitchen area is part of the living room. It's a proper little space to yourselves.
You get the whole 35 acres here. There are paths through the woods. The bluebells are good in spring. There's a fishing lake, which is stocked. The all-weather tennis court is there if you fancy it.
You're right on the edge of Bodmin Moor if you like walking. For the coast, Looe is about eight miles. It's classic Cornish harbour stuff. The National Trust South East Cornwall page has walk ideas. The Eden Project and Plymouth are each about a half hour drive, depending on traffic.
The facilities are what you'd expect: WiFi, parking, a washing machine. Bedding is included. You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
It's a mile and a half to the nearest shop and a local pub, so you'll want a car.
