This is the Hayloft at Rosecraddoc Manor. It's a one-bedroom place for two people. The main house is old, Georgian I think, and listed. This bit used to be the hayloft for the estate, so it's upstairs in the old coach house. You get your own front door on the side of the building.
It's a 3 Star rating. Everything works and it's clean, but it's not a fancy hotel. The space is open plan. The kitchen area is at one end, the living bit in the middle, and the bed at the other end. It's all one room, plus the bathroom.
You're allowed one dog. There's a washing machine if you need it. Bedding is provided, and there's a cot and highchair if you're bringing a baby.
The best thing is outside. The manor has 35 acres of grounds. There are woods and a river running through. There's a fishing lake you can use. You can walk from the door. The tennis court is there if you want it, but I think you need to bring your own rackets.
It's quiet here. The nearest shop and pub are about a mile and a half away in Doublebois. For a proper town, Looe is about eight miles. It's a fishing port with beaches. Plymouth is roughly twenty miles if you need a city or the ferry. The Eden Project is also about a twenty minute drive.
You're right on the edge of Bodmin Moor. Good for walking. If you want to plan trips, the National Trust for Cornwall site is useful, and so is the Bodmin Moor site.
