Liam Cottage is one of the cottages at Rosecraddoc Manor, near Liskeard. The manor sits in a big, private estate of 38 acres, which is mostly woods and gardens. There's a lake you can fish in, with carp and roach. The whole place is very quiet.
It's a one-bedroom cottage, so it sleeps two people. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's a woodburning stove for colder evenings, which is nice. You get a patio with a view out over the lake. Bedding and towels are included, which saves you packing them. There's a washing machine and parking on site.
The cottage is all on the ground floor. Some of the other properties here are apartments or have stairs, but this one is level access.
The estate is a couple of miles outside Liskeard. There's a pub about a mile and a half away. In Liskeard, there's a big leisure centre with indoor pools, a gym, and squash courts if the weather turns.
Bodmin Moor is about four miles north. Good for a walk. Siblyback Lake is up there if you fancy windsurfing or something. The south coast, with beaches like Looe and Polperro, is a 20 minute drive. The Eden Project is about half an hour away.
