This is the Gamekeepers Apt at Rosecraddoc Manor. It's an apartment for two on the first floor of the main Manor house.
The apartment is 3 Star. That means it's clean, warm and functional. It's not huge, but for a couple it's fine. There's one bedroom and one bathroom. You get bedding, but you will need to bring your own towels.
The setting is the main thing. The Manor is in the middle of its own 38-acre estate. There's a lake right outside with fish in it. The apartment looks out over that. The grounds are wooded and quiet. You can walk around them.
On the estate, you can fish in the lake or use the all-weather tennis court. The access to the front door of the Manor is up three stone steps, then there are stairs inside to the first floor.
Liskeard is about two and a half miles away. It has a big leisure centre with pools, a gym, and all the usual shops for supplies.
Bodmin Moor is very close, maybe a ten-minute drive. It's good for walking. Siblyback Lake there has sailing and windsurfing. The south coast with its beaches and harbours like Looe or Polperro is within half an hour.
The Eden Project is about a 25-minute drive. For local walks and days out, the National Trust Cornwall page is useful, as is the Bodmin Moor site.
In the apartment you've got a washing machine, TV, and wifi. There's parking on site. Sorry, no pets.
