The cottage is part of a bigger group, thirteen in total, converted from old barns. They're set in sixteen acres. The main thing here is the leisure stuff on site. There's a large indoor heated swimming pool and a jacuzzi. There's also a gym, a bowling alley, and a games room. It's all open until 9pm. Outside, there's an all-weather tennis court, a kids' play area, and a few ponds. One pond is for wildlife, the others are stocked for fishing if that's your thing.
It's a working farm, so you'll see animals and proper countryside. Foxes and badgers are common in the evenings. The views are good.

For days out, National Trust places like Cotehele and Buckland Abbey are within half an hour. The north and south coasts of both counties are within an hour's drive, so you can choose your beach for the day.
Facilities in the cottage: it has a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding is included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside. You can bring one dog.
There's a local pub about a mile away that does food. The nearest proper shop is in Lifton, about four and a half miles. They run a farm shop there.
