Coriander
Coriander is one of thirteen cottages here at Sherrill Farm, near Dunterton. It's detached, sleeps six, and has three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The cottage is part of a converted farm, about 300 years old. They're set around a courtyard. You've got your own space but you share the grounds, which are about sixteen acres.
The main thing here is the shared leisure building. There's an indoor heated swimming pool, a jacuzzi, a gym, a small bowling alley, and a games room. It's open until 9pm. There's also an all-weather tennis court, and a kids' play area outside.
There are three ponds on the land. One is for wildlife, the other two are stocked for fishing if you're into that.
The stairs inside are typical for an old farm building. They're a bit steep and turn a corner.
You're allowed one well-behaved dog. The garden is shared with other cottages, so you'd need to keep the dog on a lead outside your own door.
For facilities in the cottage: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding is included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
Location wise, it's rural. The nearest pub is about a mile away. A shop is about four and a half miles.
You're right on the edge of Dartmoor. You can be up on the moor in under fifteen minutes for walking. The Tamar Valley is a short drive away. Tavistock is about six miles, it's a proper market town with shops and a pannier market.
Both the north and south coasts of Devon and Cornwall are within an hour's drive for beaches.
