This place is called Judd. It's one of four cottages converted from barns at St Leonards, near Launceston in Cornwall. They're set around a courtyard that looks onto stables. It's on a horse riding school, so you can book lessons right here if you want.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, warm, and has things like a woodburner. The furniture is pine, the beds are decent. It’s open plan downstairs.
Outside, there are 23 acres of grounds to walk in. There's a half-acre coarse fishing lake on site. They also run paintball games here, which you can book. A heated outdoor swimming pool is open in the warmer months, and there's a Jacuzzi and sauna.
You're about two miles from Launceston town. It's got shops, pubs, a castle, and an indoor leisure centre. There's a local shop about a mile and a half away.
For getting out, you're pretty central for Cornwall and Devon. Bodmin Moor is close. The north coast, like Widemouth Bay and Tintagel, is about half an hour's drive west. The south coast, towards Looe or Polperro, is about the same drive south. Dartmoor is roughly half an hour east.
The facilities are listed. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on site. One well-behaved dog is allowed. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
