This is Judd. It's a barn conversion in Launceston, Cornwall, on a site with a few others. You're on a horse riding school here, so there are stables and fields. The setting is a wooded valley, quite quiet.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's a woodburner for cooler evenings.
The main thing here is the shared facilities on site. There's an outdoor heated swimming pool, which is open in the summer. There's also a sauna and a hot tub. You can book horse riding lessons. There's a coarse fishing lake on the property, and paintball sometimes happens too. It's a working place, so you'll hear and see horses.
Launceston is about two miles away. It's got shops, supermarkets, a leisure centre, and a castle. The A30 is close, so it's a practical base for getting around. Bodmin Moor is about a 20 minute drive. The north coast, like Widemouth Bay or Tintagel, is roughly half an hour by car. Port Isaac is a bit further.
For facilities in the barn: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's a cot and highchair if needed.
