The Granary is in Tregadillett, which is quiet, just a bit outside the village. It's on our land, but it's detached and you've got your own space. The garden is enclosed.
It's an upside-down house. Living area's upstairs, bedrooms are downstairs. It makes the most of the view. The building is old, sixteenth century I think, but it's been a cottage for a while now.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles I think, and each has its own bathroom. That's handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable. You get bedding and towels.
There's a wood burner for when it's chilly. Also a dishwasher and a washing machine. WiFi, TV, all that. There's a games room in the outbuilding with a pool table. You can bring one dog.
It's rural. The pub is two miles away in the village. The shop is about four miles, so you'll want to drive. You're only two miles from the A30, which is good for getting around.
Launceston is four miles. It's got a castle and the usual shops. The Launceston Castle page has the details. Trethorne Golf Course is a mile away. There's fishing nearby if that's your thing.
For the coast, you're looking at about half an hour to forty minutes in the car. Port Isaac, Tintagel, places like that. Bodmin Moor is closer, maybe twenty minutes. Useful links for planning: National Trust Cornwall and Visit Cornwall.
