Stable End is in Trewen. It's one of two converted stone barns next to our house. You get your own garden with patio furniture and a barbecue.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is good. It's clean, warm, and everything works. The room layouts are straightforward.
The barns sit up a bit, so you look out over fields. It's quiet. There's an Ordnance Survey footpath that goes right past the gate if you want to walk straight from the door.
The nearest shop and pub are about two miles away in Altarnun. The village has a good pub that does food.
You're in a decent spot for getting around. Launceston is five miles for supermarkets and things. The north coast is about a twenty minute drive. Port Isaac, Boscastle, and Tintagel are all up there. Padstow is roughly half an hour away.
For big days out, The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan are within half an hour. Plymouth is about forty-five minutes if you need a city.
Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside. No pets, sorry.
