Barton Cottage
Barton Cottage is in North Petherwin, which is a small village in Cornwall. The cottage is attached to our house, which is part of an old 16th-century farmhouse. It's quiet here.
It sleeps three people. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom, which has a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean, with some of the character you'd expect from an older place.
You've got your own patio and garden area. There's parking right outside.
Inside, there's a washing machine and a dishwasher. The WiFi works fine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a highchair if you need one. Sorry, no pets.
The village itself is quiet. The nearest pub is about three and a half miles away. For a proper supermarket, you'd want Launceston, which is about five miles. It's a market town with shops, places to eat, and a castle. They've got a steam railway there too.
The north coast beaches, like Widemouth Bay, are about a 15 minute drive. Bodmin Moor is very close for walking. Dartmoor is within half an hour.
If you're looking for a day out, the Eden Project is about a 40 minute drive. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are similar. For planning walks, the National Trust Cornish coast and Bodmin Moor sites are useful.
