The Stable
The Stable is a barn conversion on our farm in Brazacott. It used to be for the horses. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom downstairs.
It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. We're on a sheep farm, about 140 acres. You'll see sheep in the fields. It's quiet.
The main room has a high ceiling with the old beams still there. The stairs up to the bedrooms are a bit steep, like in most old barns.
Outside, there's a private patio with a table. You can also use the shared area by the lake, which has a wild garden, a little cabin, and a barbecue. It's a good spot.
We allow up to two well-behaved dogs. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, wifi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair.
The nearest pub is about four miles away in North Petherwin. The shops are in Launceston, which is seven miles.
The North Cornish coast is roughly ten miles to the west. You've got places like Port Isaac and Polzeath. Bodmin Moor is close for walking, about twenty minutes by car. The Eden Project is a forty-minute drive. Dartmoor is about an hour.
