The Stable
The Stable is on our farm in Brazacott. It used to be, well, a stable. We converted it a few years back. It's one of two cottages here, so you might see other guests around, but you've got your own space.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. The ceilings are high because of the old beams, which we kept. The stonework is original too.
You're on a working sheep farm, so you'll see us and the dog out and about. There are 140 acres. You're welcome to walk around the fields, just shut the gates behind you. There's a lake with a bit of a wild garden and a cabin you can use.
It's quiet here. The nearest pub is about four miles away. For a shop, you'll need to go to Launceston, which is seven miles. It's a proper market town.
The north coast, places like Widemouth Bay, is about a 25 minute drive. Good for surfing. Bodmin Moor is closer, maybe 15 minutes. It's great walking country. Dartmoor is about 40 minutes if you want to go further.
Inside, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. The TV works. We include all the bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs. Parking is right outside.
