The Rivendell Glamping Pod is at Well Farm, near North Tamerton. It's a cylinder-shaped wooden pod, like a little round house. Sleeps four, but it's all in one room. There's a double bed and two singles that can be sofas.
It's got a 4 Star rating. Means it's well equipped and comfortable, but it's still glamping. You're in a pod on a farm.
Your washing facilities are in a separate little pod next door. Shower and toilet are in there.
The farm has a few fields with paths, kunekune pigs, and chickens. The upper bit of the Bude Canal is a short walk away. You can walk down to the River Tamar from here for a picnic.
The place is quiet. You'll hear birds and sheep. It's about ten and a half miles to the nearest beach, like Bude. There's a pub about a mile and a half away.
For things to do, surfing is at the coast, fishing is on the Tamar, and there's a lot of walking. National Trust Cornwall and Tamar Valley AONB sites are good for planning. Launceston is the nearest proper town, maybe a 15 minute drive.
What's here: bed linen and towels are provided. There's a TV, WiFi, a patio with a BBQ, and parking. There's an electric vehicle charger. The farm has a shared games room and a play area for kids.
No pets, sorry.
